The big four Windows Phone manufacturers to introduce the first Windows Phone 8 devices later this year have now been named. Qualcomm processors have already been certified and confirmed to be installed on all Windows Phone 8 devices, for the moment, we know that already. The big four manufacturers to release the first Windows Phone 8 devices are Nokia, Huawei, Samsung, and HTC.
Huawei and HTC have independently confirmed the Windows Phone 8 news, and have released their own press information on their future Windows Phone 8 devices.
Huawei confirms that their Windows Phone 8 devices will release before the end of 2012 in the U.S., Europe, and China.
“2012 is building up to be a great year for Huawei. Now, we are poised to end the year with a big bang – with the introduction of our first smartphone running on the Windows Phone platform,” said the company in a press release (bolding ours).
The Huawei Ascend Windows Phone 8 device is already confirmed for release later this year.
